Our Healthcare Assistant are Linzi White & Tara Peake. Linzi has worked with us for almost 15 years, beginning her time with us as a receptionist, but when our previous healthcare assistant moved to a hospital based role, we took advantage of Linzi’s previous nursing experience. Tara recently joined the team at the end of 2020.
Both Linzi & Tara hold the Care Certificate. They hold daily clinics providing BP checks a couple of afternoons per week and also joint BP and blood test appointments in the morning, where necessary including diabetic foot checks, too. They assist the nurses in helping patients who wish to give up smoking. They are also qualified to provide NHS healthcheck screening for patients aged 40 – 74 who may be at risk of developing heart or stroke disease.
Both Linzi and Tara love their clinical work and are very popular with all our patients.
