When we are closed

If you need urgent medical attention whilst we are closed you should contact NHS 111 online, or dial 111, who will be able to advise and/or direct you to the most appropriate service to meet your needs, or look on the NHS website.

Emergency dental care for patients who do not have a dentist, is available by ringing the dental helpline on 0333 332 3800 7 days a week, 8am – 10pm.

Please be aware that due to COVID-19 there may be some changes to the provision of the services below.  For latest information and advice, please contact NHS111.

Minor illness care

Minor illness help, can be obtained from any local pharmacy offering minor illness services.

Trafford General Hospital’s urgent care centre is open from 8am – 8pm every day for urgent medical care that is not life-threatening. Telephone 0161 746 2619.

A&E services are available 24 hours a day at Wythenshawe 0161 998 7070 & Central Manchester Hospitals 0161 276 1234, for all accidents & emergencies not suitable for the services already listed above.

Other routine services such as repeat prescription ordering and appointment booking are available online once you have registered for this service by bringing current, formal photo ID to reception and requesting PIN details.
